The conference features two tracks with fireside chats, panels, demos and presentations on digital game investment, creation, distribution, marketing and monetization, meeting areas for power networking and reception/after-party on the evening of Sept. 30.
WORKSHOP: The Business of Play: Privacy, Safety and Gaming for Young Consumers
This 4-hour workshop, led by PlayWell Founder and President Linnette Attai, demystifies privacy rules, explains the top safety considerations for your website or app, and discusses norms around business models for young consumers. You’ll leave knowing how we got here, practical steps towards compliance that don’t compromise creativity, and how to get ready for what’s coming next.
Thanks greatly for having us! It was great to be there and (re-)connect with many great folks. Looking forward to seeing you guys soon again.
Thank you for providing all of us a wonderful opportunity to network and enjoy. I believe it was a great format for those to make new relationships
I thought the panels at NY Games were nicely done and the ones I attended had good moderators that fostered quality discussions. The Q&A via text is a nice touch as well
I attended today’s New York Games Conference in Manhattan. As usual, Digital Media Wire did an excellent job of assembling a diverse, useful program; if you get the opportunity to attend one of their events I recommend it.
Thanks very much for being such an excellent host. The best part of these shows is meeting new people in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. I met with several people that greatly enjoyed your successful event.
The only bad things about the NYGC is that I come away with too many ideas to manage. Great discussions and insight all day long!
I was incredibly impressed with this year’s event. The location, the speakers, how organized everything was — the wifi working perfectly!! Huge kudos to you for an amazing job. Spil Games was quite pleased. We’re all happy. I really really look forward to sending more of my clients to your events in the future.
Really enjoyed yesterday, such a great event for NYC’s game community.
The conferences were very informative and we look forward to connecting with additional DMW events in the future.
